du vs electric lift assist chairs
it’s almost unfair to compare

I believe the du chair is actually keeping me active and keeping me using my muscles. I've got muscular dystrophy… I find that I can put the energy into sitting down easily, and I can also stand quite easily. And it's tailored for my particular weight. I find that it's a lot better than the electric lifter chairs that I've tried. I think you become a bit too reliant on them.

Alan, du chair customer

Electric lift assist chairs have never been the right solution for people needing some movement in and out of chairs but wanting to retain independence.

Electric chairs work for you, not with you, consume expensive power, and are traditionally very large and bulky.

Conversely, owning a du chair means you’re maintaining core body strength and muscle condition as your body works in sync with the chair to sit down and stand up in real time. For your general health and wellbeing and life expectancy, an electric chair is just no match for the du chair.
